Omron HEM-637 Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor

If you're searching for a blood pressure monitor to do a periodic blood pressure check with, then a wrist blood pressure monitor is an excellent bet. I have been using an Omron Wrist Blood Pressure monitor since 1999 and I have compared my pressure with that taken at my doctor's office and it's in the ball park. The fact is, blood pressure is not always the same at different times of the day and for me, what I need is just a good indication of where I'm at.

Eat/No Eat Subliminal Motivational CD

The Hemi-Sync method is a clinically proven advanced form of suggestion or what I personally refer to as a hybrid form of self-hypnosis. Hemi-Sync works by adjusting the listeners brain waves to a more advanced pattern that is suitable for suggestion.

At FitMotive.com, we believe in using every viable tool to reach our health and fitness goals. Eat/No Eat is an excellent tool to add to your motivational arsenal.

Omron HBF-306c Fat Loss Monitor

Although I don't believe in daily weigh-ins or obsessive fat percent monitoring, I do analyze my body composition (fat, muscle mass, etc.) four times a year with an Omron Analyzer. The Omron HBF-360c takes measuring a step further, by monitoring fat loss.

While these devices have been around for quite some time and are safe, there are certain individuals who should not use them. Please take a moment to read over the page on Amazon to determine if the HBC-306c is safe for you to use.

Nature Made Cholest Off

Here's my story: After my annual physical, my doctor informed me that my cholesterol was getting dangerously high. He gave me a prescription for a popular cholesterol medication - and not ever wanting to leave my health entirely in the hands of someone else, I searched for a supplement and found Nature Made Cholest Off. After a month of taking both the prescription medication and the Cholest Off, my doctor was surprised to find that my levels had returned to normal.

What sold me on Cholest Off, was the clinical trial evidence - and of course, the fact that they're made of Plant Sterols / stanols.

BumbleBar Organic Energy Bars

If you're like me, you've tried just about every variety of energy bar on the market. My experience has been that I've only been marginally impressed with some bars and completely disappointed in others (especially when I take the time to analyze the ingredients and find hidden short-chain carbohydrates). Then one day, (by chance), I saw a box of BumbleBar Organic Energy Bars sitting on the bottom shelf of a high-end health food store in Pacific Palisades.

The bars were dusty - but the expiration date was solid, so I decided to give Bumble Bar a try. A few minutes later, for the fist time in my energy bar eating life, I felt the energy enter my body. Ever since then, I've been hooked on these little guys. BumbleBar's are not filled with a lot of mystery solids and they're not trying to look or taste like a candy bar. They taste exactly like the ingredients on the label. If it's energy you're looking for - then give these bars a try. You won't be disappointed.

BumbleBar Organic Energy Bars are the finest energy bars on the market.

Jarrow L-Glutamine 1000mg

Jarrow Formulas are the Holy-Grail for any confirmed vitamin-nut (like me)! Jarrow Formulas are exactly the dosage and combination that I'm looking for - as well as extraordinarily fresh.

Jarrow's L-Glutamine 1000mg Easy-Solv® Tablets are said to be essential for protecting muscle tissue and integral for supporting immune function. I'd have to agree. I've been taking this particular formula steadily for over 3 years now and have seen a real difference in maintaining my muscle mass.

iPod Classic: 80GB Black

Once upon a time, the Sony Sports Walkman revolutionized my workouts with cassette tapes that I would mix specifically for high-energy workouts. Today, the revolution continues with the iPod.

I will be the first to admit that reviewing a product that most people probably already know about is, well, a little too easy. Yet, I can't ignore the fact that my iPod makes many of my workouts bearable by alleviating the boredom of exercise machines.

I have specifically chosen the iPod Classic (because that's the one I own) -and it has 80 GB of memory. If you can afford the next model up with 160 GB - go for it because if you're like me, you'll fill it up in no time with everything from your favorite music, short films, music videos, TV shows and even full length movies! The iPod is sure to help you lose track of the time you spend working out, even on the most boring of workout machines.

Polar F5 Heart Rate Monitor

A Polar F5 Heart Rate Monitor will quickly become an essential fitness tool for you. I have used one for years. At first, I wore it during every workout, but now I only use it on heavy workout days (which is about once a week). There are quite a few different models available from Polar to choose from, each with a variety of features. Another plus to owning a Polar is that they easily sync with many of the most popular cardio machines at your gym (treadmills, etc.)

Amazon Price: $63.42
